How to Convert Oil Bath Air Filter to Paper Filter – Pontiac

This converted air filter was on my 1957 Pontiac Chieftain. A paper air filter is just far less messy than the old oil bath air filters.

The pictures are self explanatory

Oil Air filter Before
Cut the disc off
Cut the rim part off as well
Put GUD 600 filter in the pan where the oil used to go.
Air filter looks like this when you have it upside down on the table
On the vehicle it will look like this
And then the whole big top part becomes the lid of the air filter
